Making Newborn Baby Gifts

I recently made some newborn baby gifts for a family member having their first child. They were all relatively quick makes and it was a great way to use up some stash yarn.  They were all free patterns on Ravelry and I have enclosed all the links if you fancy checking them out or making any yourself.

I knitted the baby hat with top knot - Tegan by Julie Taylor.

I knitted the Puerperium Cardigan pattern by Kelly van Niekerk.

I knitted the Baby Uggs by Autumn Street.

I knitted the Perfect Newborn Socks by Tabitha Gandee.

I knitted the Oh Boy ! Oh Girl! The Mitts pattern by Filentropie Ingridou.

And finally I crocheted a corner to corner baby blanket alternating 5 colours. I didn't use a pattern for this. I crocheted a rectangle 25" x 30" which I thought would be perfect for a car seat/pram blanket.

All the patterns were straight forward to follow and I would definitely make all of them again. I know that all the items were very well received and much appreciated by the recipients.

Thanks for stopping by and until next time.
